Dr. Michael Harrison's Introduction
In writing this introduction I am reminded of what
motivated me to join the Order of Knights Templar, and, more importantly, what keeps me so completely committed to the principles inculcated by the ceremonies through which we all pass.
I suppose, that like most freemasons, I joined because I was
invited to by a friend, and it seemed to be a good idea at the time. However
in my early career as a Templar, I discovered two important things. Firstly that the ceremony of my installation was a most poignant prelude to a beautiful Order. Secondly that the whole experience was one of serious commitment to the Christian faith, allied with an ardent desire to enjoy the company of fellow Christian freemasons, in a relaxed and happy atmosphere.

Why then should you join our Order? If in a time when freemasonry and our Christian ideals are under pressure from all sides, you feel the need to celebrate your own commitment to those two important threads in your life, then join us. If you do you will discover how we proudly celebrate our dedication to our work and the pleasure we gain from our fellowship.
